Marble-effect wall panels are large-format PVC and SPC boards printed with the veining and pattern of real marble. One 280 × 122 cm PVC panel covers about 3.4 m², is 100% waterproof and glues straight over old tiles. Prices start at €49 per panel.

Which marble looks are in the collection?

From cool Carrara- and Statuario-style white, through warm beige and designs with gold veins, to dark graphite and deep blue. The collection also includes travertine and quartzite, which give a similar natural stone effect. Finishes: high gloss, semi-matte and matte, with a textured relief you can feel on some of the designs.

Marble wall panels in PVC or SPC?

PVC wall panels measure 280 × 122 cm and are 3 mm thick. You glue them flat over the full surface, which makes them the simplest choice over existing tiles.

SPC sets consist of three 60 × 280 cm panels, 4 mm thick, with a click joint. The marble pattern runs across all three boards, so a 180 × 280 cm wall looks like a single stone slab. A set costs from €179.

Frequently asked questions

Does a marble wall panel look like real stone?

Up close you can tell it's a print, but on the wall the effect is convincing, especially in high gloss. The large format helps most: with no grout line every 30 cm, the pattern doesn't repeat the way tiles do. The best way to judge is with a sample in your own light.

Where can you use marble-effect wall panels?

In the bathroom, including the shower, as a kitchen splashback, on a TV wall or in a hallway. Behind the hob the panel must be glued over its full surface, and it needs to stay at least 30 cm from the open flame of a gas hob.

Is high-gloss marble hard to keep clean?

No. The surface is smooth and closed, so dirt doesn't stick to it. A cloth and ordinary washing-up liquid are enough. Avoid caustic products and abrasive cleaners.

What does it cost compared with real marble?
