Stone on the wall without a stonemason and without grout

Stone-effect wall panels are large PVC sheets printed with rock, slate, sandstone and travertine. One 280 × 122 cm sheet covers about 3.4 m², is 100% waterproof and is glued straight onto old tiles or a flat wall. Prices start at €49 per panel.

Which stone designs are in the collection?

Light sandstones and beiges, warm canyon tones, cool slate and graphite greys, plus travertine and quartzite. Some designs have a matte embossed texture you can feel, also gathered in the embossed panels collection. Designs with distinct veining are in the marble-effect collection.

Where does a stone wall work?

In the bathroom, including the shower, above the kitchen worktop, behind the TV, in the hallway and on the stairs. The large format means few joints, so the wall reads as one stone surface rather than a mosaic of tiles.

Frequently asked questions

Is a stone-effect panel heavy?

No. The PVC sheet is 3 mm thick, so the wall does not carry the weight of real stone and needs no reinforcement. The panel is fixed with polymer mounting adhesive; we describe the whole installation step by step.

Can it handle moisture and steam?

Yes. PVC does not absorb water, so the panel is suitable for bathrooms and shower enclosures.

How do you look after such a wall?

A cloth and ordinary cleaner are enough. The surface is sealed, so unlike natural stone it never needs impregnating. Avoid caustic and abrasive products.
